Our Story
When It All Began
After over 10 years as a manager working for several larger businesses spanning the East Coast, our Owner made a decision to start something of his own. Originally listed as a DBA in 2013 in Suffolk County, Rain Rite had a very slow start. It wasn't until 3 years later in 2016, that Rain Rite was incorporated.
Who It All Began With
Our President, William "Buddy" Bela, a 4th generation Bay Shore/Brightwaters resident, started Rain Rite Inc. with nothing but a few dollars and a dream. Immediately after serving in the US Navy, Buddy was unsure of what direction to take his life next. Luckily, he quickly found employment with a lawn sprinkler company and fell in love with the trade that first day. Fast forward to today...
Where We Are Now
Today, Rain Rite Inc. services Long Island, New York in its entirety. Offering professional and trusted service in irrigation, low voltage landscape lighting and holiday lighting. We opened our DBA, Lite Rite in 2019 as we began to offer more and more lighting designs with out projects.
